As dark and gloomy as the weather has been lately is exactly how my heart has felt, too. Do you ever have times where life is rolling along just grand and then one by one, like a domino effect, trials come rolling in. I'm not doubting the goodness of God or the sovereignty of His plan, but my heart is heavy for so many different reasons: sin ripping apart relationships, new believers being persecuted by family, negativity creeping in where it shouldn't, heavy parenting decisions, a sudden loss of employment...things being felt by our immediate family, extended family, and family in Christ. Psalm 30:5b says, "Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning." I'm anxiously awaiting the morning! Until then, I'm singing this song with all I've got...Jesus WILL lead me all the way!

All the way my Savior leads me;
Who have I to ask beside?
How could I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my guide?

All the way my Savior leads me;
Cheers each winding path I tread,
Gives me grace for every trial,
Feeds me with the living Bread.

You lead me and keep me from falling.
You carry me close to Your heart.
And surely Your goodness and
Mercy will follow me.

All the way my Savior leads me;
O, the fullness of His love!
O, the sureness of His promise
In the triumph of His blood!

And when my spirit clothed immortal
Wings it's flight to realms of day,
This my song through endless ages:
Jesus led me all the way!
Jesus led me all the way!

All the way my Savior leads me.
All the way my Savior leads me.

"A Season That Will Pass"

When God is over all the year,
White snow and virgin grass,
We know that ice will disappear,
And winter soon will pass.

When God is over all the year,
And lakes are crystal brass,
We know the melting too is near,
And frozen spring will pass.

When God is over all the year,
And trees are dipped in glass,
Each twig will shed its April tear,
And icy wind will pass.

When God is over all the year,
And March is dark, alas!
We know that dismal skies will clear,
And darkness too will pass.

When God is over all the year,
And wintry days harass,
We need not dread nor need we fear
A season that will pass.
