Buckeye Delights

Over the years, I've been able to convince myself that I don't like chocolate peanut butter treats. It's a nice little mind game to play--especially around Halloween and Christmas!
This frees me up to bake away at chocolate peanut butter treats without the temptation to sample and taste test the whole time! (Ok, stop thinking that I need some sort of therapy!)

Today I tried a new spin on Buckeyes. They were much easier and faster. My taste testers liked the results, too! To quote Cody: "Whoa-hoa...those are amazing!" Of course, I wouldn't know...I don't eat chocolate and peanut butter...

Buckeye Delights

1 package brownie mix prepared according to package directions

Fill a mini muffin pan with brownie batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until done.
(This will make at least 24 mini muffins, so you may have to bake them in batches.)

Filling:
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 T. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix until smooth. Drop a teaspoonful on each cooled mini brownie.

Melt 1 c. milk chocolate and drizzle over the tops of the mini brownies. Chill until chocolate is set.

*Your drizzling will probably be much prettier than mine, for sure. The natives were beginning to get restless, so it sort of became slopping rather than drizzling!
