Thrifty Thursday!

Thrifty Tip #51:  Skip the holiday shopping frenzy, and make homemade Christmas gifts.

Whether you're a crafter or a baker, boundless ideas exist for gifts that will suit all your friends and family!

This creative friend has been turning out the cutest little homemade gifts!  What I wouldn't give to be her niece...that owl purse!  Too cute!

This sweet friend made the most yummy assortment of goodies to be delivered and shared.  Her chocolate mint brownie pops are going to earn her major brownie points!

As always, Martha Stewart as some great ideas in her Santa's Workshop.

What are some of your favorite sites for homemade gift ideas, patterns, recipes?

I LOVE homemade items (to give and receive)! So glad you are sharing ideas. This year, I'm making a "treasure basket" (inspired by: http://chasingcheerios.blogspot.com/2010/02/es-treasure-basket.html) and color matching peg people (http://chasingcheerios.blogspot.com/2010/12/color-matching-with-peg-dolls.html) for my 1 year old nephews. For own 3 boys, I'm painting a canvas (my FIRST!) inspired by this blog: http://impressyourkids.org/how-to-cut-letters-make-your-own-stickers-fingerpaint-with-preschoolers-whew/. Can't wait to see what other ideas are posted! Always looking for easy to do inspirations!
